Welcome to the Mid Thames Audio Visual Group website. We are a group of photographers having a particular interest in producing audio visual sequences using still pictures and sound. Most of us are also members of camera clubs across the region. Our Group was established in the days of dual projection with slides but now we all work with digital images and sound. Members define the programme for each season and it can include discussions, tutorials, visiting speakers as well as providing a forum to show & discuss our own sequences and work in progress. The exchange of hints, tips and ideas between members is a valuable feature of the Mid Thames AV Group. We normally meet at 10.00am on the first Friday morning of each month, September to May, at the, Community Centre, Woosehill, Wokingham. We also organise an AV Day annually where members and our guests are invited to show there own work. It is open to all and is led by leading exponents of the art & craft of audio visual who will give helpful comment on attendee's sequences in the morning session. The afternoon is a presentation of their own work and an explanation of techniques used to achieve great sequences. If you require any further information feel free to contact us or better still come along to one of our meetings where you will be most welcome.
